Lunch Bunch Program
Lunch Bunch is a popular afternoon option that extends your child's school experience until 2:30 p.m. It is offered on Mondays,Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and is limited to 12 students. Parents may choose one day or multiple days and the commitment is for the school year. Lunch Bunch begins the last week of September. Registration arrives in the summer mailing packet.
The afternoon program is delightful. Morning projects are continued and additional opportunities are made available to students. The “tempo” of the afternoon is relaxed and friendships blossom.
The Lunch Bunch schedule is as follows:
11:30a.m.-11:45a.m. Gross motor play outside or inside.
11:45a.m.-12:30p.m. Children bring a healthy lunch.
12:30-1:15p.m. Rest on mats with books, music, or audio/visual stories.
1:15-2:00p.m. Creative play, table activities, continuation of morning projects and reading.
2:00-2:30p.m. Outside play.
*a minimum registration of seven students is required per day
