Our mission is to help children to expand their
sense of the world
and to value their individual place in it.


The success of Dover Nursery School comes from adhering to a set of beliefs that has remained consistent over the decades. Through our efforts and outlook, we believe that our students should:

  • feel safe and loved at DNS
  • to find fun in their days
  • be appreciated for their insatiable desire to be liked
  • be given the experiences of cooperative play and friendships
  • be exposed to interesting and fun learning opportunities

We provide a safe physical and emotional setting for children to develop character, self-management, interdependence and intellectual curiosity. Differences and similarities are supported and celebrated. We design and deliver a curriculum that encourages children to try new things and to experience learning as an adventure.
